Installation & Care

Before installation

  • Use the installation instructions for the selected shutter style and the supplied mounting hardware.
  • Avoid overtightening screws or driving plastic spikes too far; this can distort the shutter.
  • When using screws on brick or masonry, use the appropriate screw anchors and follow their installation instructions.

Care and finish

  • Rinse with a garden hose; use a soft bristle brush when gentle washing is needed.
  • Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to avoid streaks.
  • For a finish you will paint yourself, choose #049 Paintable and follow the manufacturer’s preparation and curing instructions. Colored polypropylene versions are not intended for painting.
